Important: The protocol details — including precise water volumes, hydrogen timing, the bolus technique, inhalation schedules, and meal composition — are only available through the My Hydrogen Protocol app. This page covers the equipment you'll need, but the equipment alone is not the protocol.
Core Equipment
What it does: This is your hydrogen water machine. It produces the highest quality hydrogen water you'll drink and the highest quality hydrogen gas you'll breathe daily through a nasal cannula.
Why this machine: The Lourdes Hydrofix is manufactured in Japan using the highest-grade electrode materials available. Unlike most competitors, it uses solid titanium-platinum electrodes. It produces hydrogen that is odorless, colorless, tasteless, and pH neutral. The hydrogen nanobubbles it creates are exceptionally stable, giving you a wider window to drink before hydrogen dissipates.
Why not other machines: The My Hydrogen Protocol was developed to eliminate guesswork, which means controlling each variable. The system relies entirely on the precise purity and hydrogen saturation levels produced by the Lourdes Hydrofix. Introducing alternative machines, portable bottles, or hydrogen tablets introduces unknown variables regarding impurities, dissolved hydrogen stability and hardware materials. To ensure the integrity of the protocol and maintain our standard of zero impurities, we do not recommend or support substituting equipment.
What it does: Produces the cleanest possible water through a two-stage process: carbon filtration followed by distillation.
Why this distiller: MyPureWater is American-made, uses higher grades of stainless steel, and their carbon filters are manufactured without potentially contaminating glues or adhesives. They have excellent third-party lab testing. The protocol requires distilled water as the foundation.
Why distilled water: Lab reports show that even high-quality filtered water can still contain microplastics, pharmaceutical residues, and various chemical contaminants. Distilled water removes virtually everything. Options:
- Countertop unit — easy to use, no plumber needed, but produces less water.
- Under-counter or larger unit (8-gallon+) — plumber recommended, runs overnight, produces enough water for the next day.
The smoothie contains roughly 3.5 cups of densely packed dark leafy greens, plus whole carrots, beets, broccoli, celery, berries, chia seeds, nuts, and supplemental powders. You need a blender powerful enough to fully break down raw vegetables. A vacuum blender (which removes oxygen during blending) is ideal for the most advanced users, but a high-quality high-speed Vitamix blender works well for anyone.
Supplements & Trace Minerals
What it is: A natural resin containing approximately 85 ionic minerals and trace elements, including iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium, zinc, selenium, and fulvic acid (which may enhance mineral absorption).
How it's used: A small amount of resin is dissolved in hydrogen water each morning as part of the first water intake of the day.
Concentrated liquid mineral supplement with most sodium removed. Added to smoothies for additional mineralization. Recommended brand: Concentrace by Trace Minerals Research.

Manufactured in Japan and certified by qualified testing laboratories, the Hydrofix is built with premium medical-grade materials to produce pure, high-quality hydrogen for drinking and inhalation. We do not provide guidance for alternative machines, tablets, or bottles, as we have not observed they meet the rigorous, zero-impurity standards required to execute this protocol safely. We strongly advise against substituting equipment. Our protocol is designed to work only with the verified standards of the Lourdes Hydrofix.
